How to measure your
finger...his...or hers...
There are many
methods to determine a ring size. There is the traditional, obvious
method - measure the finger. We know that this is not always suitable
especially if the ring is supposed to be a surprise. So, we have also
given you a few other, less obvious, more discreet methods of
finding out a ring size. But first...
The Obvious Method:
1. Wrap a piece
of string or paper strip around the base of your finger. Note: If your
knuckle is larger than the base, you should measure at the knuckle.
2. Mark
the string or paper where it overlaps to form a complete circle.
3. Measure
the length of the section of string or paper where it overlaps around
the finger.
4. Compare
your measurement with the chart to determine the appropriate ring
size.

The Sneaky or
Discreet Methods:
Have your
partner get their ring cleaned at a local jewelers. When they are
cleaning it, ask the jeweler for the ring size...secretly, of
course.
Or, when
you are shopping for general jewelry, discreetly ask her if a certain
ring would fit. She will most likely answer with a yes, I wear size 7
or, no, that is too big or too small because I wear a size 7. And
there you have it!
